How Did Chapter79 Begin?

Andy and Jackie met at Art College, where they both studied Design – and it shows.
Jackie specialised in jewellery and metalwork before going on to train as a goldsmith in Hatton Garden. Hands-on bench work, collaborating with suppliers, and years of real-world experience shaped her meticulous craft.

Andy took a slightly different route, diving into 3D design and model-making. Today, he specialises in turning clients’ ideas into life-like visual concepts – the exciting moment where imagination becomes reality.

And the name?
Chapter79 stems from “your stories through jewellery” – the chapter – paired with 79, the atomic number for gold. A perfect blend of meaning and craftsmanship.

They fell in love with Hertford back in 2006 and now proudly run their gorgeous independent store in the heart of town.
